Disclaimer, I love them Poodle, only dog I can stand, If you follow the 'hobo' rule of not making eye contact they tend to leave you alone... -close second would be German Shepperd but more as tool than pets-

I've owned both a Caniche aka Standard Poodle (30kg) and a Chien de Berger d'Alsace.

Dood... 30 kg it must have been hell of a poodle... If he was as tall as a German Shepherd I think they are called Caniche Royal and cost a muthafucking bundle of muney... Parisian poodles are half this size and upward 10kg-15kg max... (Called midget poodles)
