FG hates FireFox?

FG went down and was unavailable from sometime after 23:00 last night. No change this morning. No change by mid-afternoon. Deleted cookies and cleared cache, but nothing.

After consultation with another forum member, it seems the problem may be on this end. On Opera FG is ok. Problems persist with Firefox.



Now any attempt to check new posts or click forums tab or active topics tab results in:

This thread will probably be merged with Hammer's, but FG hated Firefox for at least 8 hours for me but now loves it just as much as it ever did.

I am guessing that like me, the error is instantaneous, unlike a time out error?

What result does http://network-tools.com/default.asp?pr ... gaijin.com give?

But that is the same as I got last night anyway. I wondered if all those Timed outs meant anything.

Late edit: now back on FF with no problems as of yet.

Starting at midnight, everything was broken on OS10.9.5 no matter which browser I used---Chromium, Safari, Firefox, etc.
However, my iPad could access just fine and I could use a hidemyass.com proxy to access with my iMac running OS10.9.5.
Around 9am, I changed proxy servers, reinstalled the newest version of Chrome and everything started working again with my iMac/OS10.9.5 /Chrome combination.
Now, everything seems normal.

If it seems to be OS influenced, for the sake of completeness I had temporary problem but now solved on Firefox on Ubuntu. If the problem lasted longer I was going to launch Win 7 but I never got that far.

Didn't work for me this morning either, using Safari or FF. But did work fine through a proxy in the same browsers. Was fine by lunchtime though.
