You can no longer get a 12-month extension on an existing passport. If you already have an appointment at a British embassy, consulate or high commission, you will still be able to attend.
Bastards have stopped fucking issuing extensions. What a bunch of shits. So now what, send by snail mail and get one in time for Christmas? Bollocks..
Edit: called the Embassy, they will still honour the extension offer until 24th of April. Must have had complaints from pissed off Brits.
Edit #2: Called again to make an appointment, this time given the finger. No more extensions are being issued. British service at it's best.
I was informed the UK passport renewal system is working more efficiently now........ we will see.....

Did you think the Embassy would sully itself dealing with the riff raff? The gate to the gated community is closed fast.

Anyway, passports, pffft. What's wrong with entering on the underside of a lorry via Calais, I ask?

Vote? Why would you want to, have you seen the performing monkeys standing in the election this year?
Passport is in the air now, what's the FG estimate on delivery... 1 month, 2 months? Ready for the next millennium?

When I questioned this explaining that as an FG I have to follow some procedures, she said "It's ok, your wife is Japanese, so you can get a passport at the J office."
Dumber than most.....

Yes, but much, much sweeter than most. I love the way the rather countrified kids have accepted Us. That is actually Kokoro Nuku Nuku stuff right there man. Do the reverse artihmetic, subtract any sort of knowledge of how the non-Jpn world works, and you end up with decency +12. Shame she wasn't a looker, eh?

Smells rather like the wan... I mean bankers scenario
At the same time, managers at the passport agency, which made a £42 million profit during the chaos, received up to £3,500 in bonuses.
