My ex that used to ride Harley stopped after causing a pretty bad crash while attempting to simply turn....only reason she got the ogata license is the 9th time she attempted the test, the instructor was trying to get a date.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that egg production in Japan is more hygienic than in other countries but anytime you eat something raw from an animal you're running a risk. I have no problem with raw eggs for the record and I've always like my fried eggs sunny side up. Anyone remember the original protein shake? Raw eggs and orange juice. I think Stallone did that in "Rocky" but I remember seeing some of the older kids who were jocks doing that in the late 70's.

I would need a bit of data to be convinced of that. It's intensive, industrial as in other countries, that's for sure and I happened to proofread an academic paper on animal feed in Japan. It is almost totally reliant on imports of grain from mainly the US and prices have climbed relentlessly. Chicken farmers/egg producers have seen their profit margin fall by over 40% in the last decade or so - they are the most severely affected of all the livestock farmers.
