Yes, Taliban Barbie is somewhat similar in style. Some of the others not so much - more Spitting Image and American passion play. Certainly a similar cause but a very different approach.

The UK armed forces recruits from age 16 (signup process starting at 15) - so the toy advertisements and children's shows have a particular resonance and purpose.
