I have honeybee die-offs a day after they spray that stuff by RC heli on the rice fields.

My understanding is that the self-imposed agricultural industry guideline on neonics, permits use up to 20 days prior to harvest, even though measurable amounts are still there at 30 (plus, depending upon the produce) days. This is the first study I have seen that provides a link to human health problems - so maybe they will adjust that limit back to 22 days, or some such.

Some areas of Japan are bug, bee, and bird free due to neonics - so maybe human free is the next step....
