Why would that link not be the truth? It is backed by incontrovertible evidence "which could be used in court", and multiple unnamed sources. That man makes his living, and a lavish living at that, uncovering truths freelance, globally.

Wayne was a great guy and used to give fellow gaijin free tickets to games all the time.

you take it seriously? eh?
as a test, just ask his son working in some high school as a coach of the baseball team if its truth or not.

That same journalist misattributed identities of other members here too. Greji lives! Or maybe it will be his ghost posting next, chasing after spirit goats.
Some people can get so confused when they convince themselves of the identities of some of the posters here.

I consider it one of my great failures in life that I never managed to post anything meaningful enough for that journalist to write a story on me. I really wanted to see which real life person he would accuse me of being.

Youre being a right cunt here. The news is on the net. Fuck, I never knew Greiji but he always warmly welcomed contributions from fucked gaijins who he did not know on this forum. He was funny and cool, shit, 68 is far too young to die nowadays. Sorry for Taro and everybody else who knew him personally and so sorry to the family of this funny and interesting man.

Remembering the life and works of Boye De Mente, a giant of writing on Japan
BY AMY CHAVEZ | THE JAPAN TIMES ~- June 25, 201
...never met Boye’s wife, but it was she who sent me the email informing me of her husband’s death on May 12, 2017, at 88 years old. “He was a classic gentleman as well as a classic writer,” she said.
