I suspect it was formulated after careful consideration of Adidas' "Impossible is nothing"
Actually, "START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE" sort of makes sense when that engrish slogan is seen as part of Toyota 's global campaign called "MOBILITY FOR ALL."

Engrish on top of Engrish...I wonder how the non FG visitors will interpret it.

You would think that somebody in all of Toyota might notice that putting the words "START" with "IMPOSSIBLE" as a slogan on the side of their cars is not very smart, duh.
(Toyota is IMPOSSIBLE to START.)

The Japanese short track speed skater Kei Saito has protested his innocence after becoming the first athlete at the Winter Olympics to be suspended for a positive drugs test.
The news was announced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, who said that the 21-year-old voluntarily accepted a provisional suspension after an out-of-competition test showed signs of acetalozamide, which can be a masking agent and is used as a diuretic.

I asked some locals last night and the consensus among them was probably initially intended to be something like "begin your potential" than got fucked to "start your possible" and further fucked to "start your impossible." At the end of the day, it's just more confusing and meaningless J-fucked "catch copy"

And rightly so. If they want access to my success, they'll have to do some more efforts...

I doubt that Hamamatsu, as home of Suzuki, will ever get access to the success of a man who prefers a Mitsubishi Minica for all occasions.
The Hamamatsu slogan is a riff on the tradition of Hamamatsu castle being a shortcut to rising up the feudal ranks. ... If the 17 years spent there by Tokugawa Ieyasu can be regarded as a shortcut ...

There are two brands of pianos made in Hamamatsu, and you chose the correct one.
How did you know?

I just couldn't picture you astride a Yamaha.
(wagyl, known to have blown a black Yamaha in his time).

Why do we have to see their reaction to the success or defeat of the athletes. In the west they often show the family members or husband or wife, but not here. Who cares about Nobunaga crying because the stupid announcer said , he helped Hanyu win gold. I am sick of these cheese-ball announcers and how they want all the spotlight on themselves, not the competition. And I must say, the coverage has been pretty crap, not a lot of coverage of sports, no repeats of things people may have missed unless it is the men's figure skating which we will see at least 1638 times in the next few days!

I just came across this thread half an hour ago, and managed to get the Hola VPN installed and watched the last five minutes of the game (saw Canada score the 4th goal ). Now I can enjoy seeing some real coverage of the Olympics, not just 24/7 J figure skating...
BTW - six members of the Korean hockey team are Canadian.
