I would have thought hubby would be kinda impressed at his wife's awesome skillz in car making... bragging rights with his other salary man mates who's wives just crochet doilies for their car head rests while they are at work.

"Hey all you got was some lame needle point - my wife can make an F1 car from some cardboard, dental floss and paint."

Not sure why the original poster is calling the housewife lazy - most Japanese women don't work outside the house. It is almost like a status symbol that they don't have to work. Plus the prospects are not very interesting if they did want to work anyhoooo. just saying.

For god sake, she even changed the nose shape to the 2012 car specification (Red Bull Renault - Infinity RB8 )...

(the front wing is still a bit simplified though...)

Judging by the face of the kid... You might want to check your local dictionnary for the common agreed meaning and use of the word useless...

I don't get the bitching either. It looks like a cool thing a parent did for her child. It also shows how far ahead Japan is compared to the United States when it comes to cardboard box technology.
