Any photography lovers here?

Postby AlbertSiegel » Sat Nov 05, 2005 1:34 am

Hello my fellow FG, I will be back in Japan December 8th and would love to arrange a meeting for everyone on FG who loves photography. I was thinking we could meet somewhere in Tokyo with our cameras and see where the day takes us. It does not matter if you have a point-and-shoot, DSLR, or film camera. Anyone interested?

FG Lurker, omae mona, emperor, Charles, drpepper.... you guys interested?

Bummer. I'm going to be overseas that whole week. Might have thought about joining in otherwise.

I'm not actually in Japan at the moment. Currently I'm trying to decide which I want most, a new Canon 5D or a 3 month trip to Japan.

Sry dude, I would be quite interested but im not in Japan at the moment & wont be until next summer at the earliest.

It would be nice to have a change in subject matter, all i had been photographing lately were my rabbits and their offspring.
I noticed I lost alot of my snap-happiness after being back from Japan a while - everything seemed mundane once again after only a few days or weeks.
The weather generally being so cold and wet here, and the overcast skies dont encourage outdoor shooting either.

That is a very difficult choice... you will not sleep for many night thinking of that.

Too bad nobody can make it so far....... omae mona.. maybe we can do it the next week then. I would like to see around what time people would be able to go.

Of course I'd go, but what "next week" are you talking about?
(I'm heading to my el racherio rauncho in the Real World around the first week December for couple months.)

I'm wait-listed for ultra-cheap flight sometime between Dec 5 (Mon) and Dec 12 (following Tues).

I might be down, but I might be out of Japan by that time (getting deported).

Well, I am interested, but I'm Osaka-based. Are you coming down to Kansai at all during your trip?

Bwahahaha. That would be nice but I was only kidding.
I might be going to Singapore for the next job's training.
Though, my work visa was revoked because I quit my last job and I was held in detention at Nartia the other day. So now I'm back here with that 3 month tourist visa. That was not cool.

I will be in Japan for at least 6 months. I am sure I will make it to Osaka in that time.

There are two people interested in meeting the December 10 or 11 in Tokyo. Things are looking good. Looks like the three of us are Canon guys.

Taro! You must make it! Do you want to come if you are still around?
