Motorbiking - Japan

Thought id start a thread on motorbiking in Japan..

Couple o questions to get things started, but anyone else wanna add questions go for it..

Do you or have you ever ridden in japan/what did you ride?

Has anyone know anything about getting a bike licence in Japan? Anyone taken the licence test?

Where have you ridden in Japan?

nice link.. those guys go on some mad rides by the looks of it... How nice is Izu peninsula.. definatly have to grab a bike and go for a ride down there one day...

It is a mad place to get to on any weekend during summer unless you pick the time of day.. ie don't attempt to ride back to Tokyo on Sunday Afternoon unless you like sitting in traffic for 5 hours.

But if you leave it a bit later or even very early on a Monday morning, it is a clear ride.

Definitely worth the effort, especially if you like mountains and onsens and white sandy beaches.
