Back from Japan

Just came back from another trip to Tokyo. That place is humming. Is it my imagination or the place is getting more active? Not long ago reservations for dinner was not required but recently I found out how hard it is to find a good place to eat on the weekend. I could not believe the number of people in the department stores and especially at Bic Camera in Yurakucho. Anyway, it looks like its game on in Tokyo as far as the economy is concerned.

Restaurant reservations are definitely getting more advisable at weekends for middle to high-end places. The shops may have seemed busy but the retail data doesn't reflect that yet. A pick-up in consumption is still the missing part of the jigsaw as far as the economy is concerned.
