A 76 year old man was killed bya boy who goes to the local H.S.
So it was topic #1 in the adult classes and I was surprised to hear ALL of the students ( all women ) in different classes make excuses for the 16 year old boy. The grandfather was too strict they thought.

The grandfather wanted the boy to study (crazy grampa) and the boy wanted to play baseball.

So of course grampa had to die.

I've heard that from a lot of people these days. The parents are too strict and the kids just snap. I think its crap, but what do I know. I was raised in easygoing Canada. My wife gets on my case when I tell the kids to study. I don't like it but this is Japan, and if you want to do well you have to follow the system and do well on the tests etc. If people don't like the system then they have to change it, as we were mentioning on anther thread. Let the kids play more, give them more time off to relax.

These kids wake up at 5:30 to do morning exercises during summer vacation.
