Yeah...a friend lives out on the Sobu line in Funabashi. Real close to Costco, a decent beach park for the dog (or taking the wife for a walk), easy to rip out to Narita, and a mere 30 min. commute into work every morning. The inkaka is a stone's throw away if he needs to get away for the weekend for some camping or onsen time. Working in Tokyo ensures plenty of after work extra-curricular fun. Not a bad way to live.
