Gday,

About to head over for the annual trip with the mrs to see her family and for me to get belittled by obaachan and get fed food I don't like.

However I seem to have run into some trouble, around this time last year I was getting around 1 AUD to 100 yen now it is down to 1 AUD to 59 yen (as of yesterday) due to the economic failboat. Basically what I am asking is if there is some type of way to track the value of the old yen over say the last month or two I have seen this history functionality on xe.com however I'm wondering if there are any graphical representations I don't really feel like going over months of data.

Time to cancel that onsen trip I think.

Cheers =)

Why is the Australian dollar even worth 59 yen? I know they export iron ore. And there is some tourism, but what else does Aussie major exports?

Meet an Australian girl in Shibuya on a tourist visa touring Japan promoting her music. She was also complaining about the Aussie dollar being worth #$%& :(

Google.com (the US one not google.com.au) Click news, click business, then type "JPY" in the quotes box on the right.

I will let the good ol' Chuck answer that one but before he does, I would say one thing: felons.
9/11 Terror Attack: Survived. 3/11 Earthquake: Survived.
