So after talking to some recruiters today Ive found theres no way possible to waive the tattoo on my lip. My only choice now is to have it removed. Very simply the military is a means to an end. I really want to attend college for physics and chemistry along with a few other more specific fields. Theres things in my life I have to accomplish and the military is the only way I see to complete them reasonably.

I feel for you and if you really have things that you need to accomplish and actually have goals, then you gotta do what you gotta do. I question WTF you were thinking in the first place (with the tats and then expecting to get in to the milit), but everyone has their own issues in life.

I hate to break it to you, but you can't just choose or pick something and then expect things to fall in place. You gotta put in your dirt and work towards it. Case in point: You want to get in to the milit, so you can go back to school and perhaps get stationed in Japan. Yet, the milit won't take you in with your tats. It's pretty clear what you have to do to me..

And I'd highly suggest you re-evaluate your alter_Internet_ego if you are expecting to get in to the military and obtain some sort of security clearance. Because that shit will bite you in your_arrogant_arse eventually. You've heard of background checks, right?
