Nope, not rich. Fact is - I've got no real savings in Oz to lose, got super (superannuation) from the few crappy part time jobs I had in Oz sitting at a proud record of $1,00 bucks (yep, I'll be able to retire on that:) ), got no stocks/shares whatever, got no prospects in Oz.
I'm just feeling good because Japan gives me a living! I can smoke most places I like, booze in public, date J girls, go travelling around. I work at an admittedly crappy job but still I'm getting paid and it's relatively secure, and hole up in J land away from the realities of the world. There will be jobs here for the forseeable future even if they're not great - mines crappy but I get paid on time and make enough to get by.
I also heard about Panasonic/Matsushita going down the dumper. I worked for a bit in Fukuoka and mett the biggest cunts Ive ever met in my life at the Happy Cock and other bars aroud tenjin.
