Hokkaido Shimbun Ends English Translation

The Hokkaido Shimbun is one of the few regional newspapers to have a website with some English translations of their news stories. Clicking on the link today, brings up the above message which says that no more translations will now appear. It was always unclear who really bothered to read them but I always liked coming across some of the quirkier stories.
