May I remind people that while those graphs show peaks of 2-3 times the natural level of radiation, it actually needs to get to many thousands (or is it tens of thousands?) times as large to be a health risk.

The average Geiger counter reading in Tokyo averages below 20 GPM (Geiger counts Per Minute). 100 CPM is equivalent to 1 microsievert or 0.1 millirem. Right now, Tokyo Geiger counter readings average below 30 GPM, which is the same or less than flying in jumbo jet.

Damn, you are lucky Taro. We are still at 34,762 CPM in my Tokyo neighborhood. Over here, the government has confiscated all private geiger counters and replaced them with one on Youtube that is, obviously falsely, reporting 12 CPM. I know we are at 34,762 because TEPCO is a bunch of liars, they put some radioactive shit in the water, and we are at DEFCON 8, worse than Chernobyl by a factor of 10, my embassy is handing out KY pills to combat the Iodide floating around in the air, the evacuation zone has been expanded to include huge tracts of land, and because obviously Japanese people are only interested in TEPCO profits and have no regard for human life.

Everybody on the internet (for the most part) agrees with me. So don't tell me I am wrong.
