No, no, no. You don't use the dog for stock, that's a waste of expensive meat.

Just strip that stuff the bone for poshin-tang. Or if you've got yourself a nice grillin' size pooch your cook it up barbecue style for some gaegogi.

Now, if you are looking for a good thing for flavoring up that stock, just find yourself any random alley cat, chop of it's tail (he'll be fine without it), skin that and toss it in the pot. Add red pepper and garlic to taste.

My Philipino friends say, "black dog is the best" ---the most tasty. The problem is they said this in the presence of my 65kg black Great Dane. while planing a wedding dinner. 8O

I lived in a cheap hotel for a whole year in Pusan. A nearby building housed a dog restuarant where they kept live dogs in a cage on the roof. Koreans believe that the dog's blood is helpful for fighting a hangover which their rot-gut cheap liquor is sure to provide. To make matters worse, from the dog's perspective, they believe that if the dog suffered in his death the healing properties in the blood will be multiplied. From my room I could hear the dogs being tortured, strung up and skinned alive. They sounded human in their squeals, like a baby.
