What is going on today????

Postby GomiGirl » Fri Oct 10, 2003 3:26 pm

There is a HUGE rally going on right outside my office. There are thousands of people marching from kokuritsu-kyogijou to Yoyogi park..

They are so noisy but I haven't had a chance to walk outside and read what their banners say and their chants are non-sensical..

Anyone know what it is all about?

Guess word got out about all the campaign girls around your office. Looks like their navigation skills are a bit off the mark.

Well it is a steady stream of old folks on their way to Yoyogi Park. Bit old for campaign girls...

It seems they are demonstrating against the taxation system but that is all I know at present.

Maybe they're former campaign girls protesting for better retirement benefits and elder care?
