When Manners are Meiwaku

Postby Samurai_Jerk » Wed Mar 13, 2013 2:53 pm

I'm getting tired of the elevator etiquette here. I'm talking about the idiots who insist on pressing the open button on the elevator when you're getting on or off no matter how fucking small the elevator is. If it's a big 30 person elevator in an office building, OK. When it's a barely fits 4 people and holding the button means blocking half the door elevator, just step back and get the fuck out of the way.

Just went to Honkers for the first time, and can say they have the opposite problem. When that door opens, those mother fuckers rush like they're serving last food.... ever.

I should stop scanning sentences while brain is disengaged... I read:

Kind of made sense, but didn't at the same time.

LOL, I'm more annoyed by the tendency of people to overcrowd elevators here...and lazy fucks using the elevators when there are handicapped, luggage carrying, or pram(hehe) pushing people waiting and escalators nearby.

Yep...and you know it will only get worse as the population gets older and people that actually need to use the elevators increases, causing them to form lines to cram into one.

Anyway, continuing with the meiwaku manners theme, Japanese business emails are also a pain in the ass. When I know you and regularly do business with you, opening every goddam email with お世話になっております, telling me who you are and what company you work for, and apologizing for disturbing me when I'm soooooo busy isn't polite. It's a waste of my fucking time and yours.

I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about having to look at those fucking emails. Sometime the main point is buried in a bunch of useless honorifics.

Worse are the idiots at my work that hold the door to let me on before they get out, then involving some sort of dance in cupboard-size space to get out around me.
