Free Shipping to Japan from Next and M&S this Christmas!

Postby Wage Slave » Sat Nov 30, 2013 2:13 pm

Well, in the case of M&S if you spend over £50 before December 15th. I haven't even looked at what terms and conditions Next might impose.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

- Macbeth (Act 5, Scene 5)

William Shakespeare, April 1564 - May 3rd 1616

I don't think I would have to "close my eyes and think of England" with that young lass though.

BUWAHAHA. Perhaps this is Victoria's secret??? Anyways, Frightening, yes, but that looks like pretty standard issue UK granny panties to me. I always giggled at the juxtaposition of shockingly slutty outfits and makeup underpinned by the mildly fancy chastity kit. OTOH, one more good reason to just strip her naked and gobble all that peachy creaminess. Whatever else one might say about British girls, they do love to gobble and be gobbled.

Isn't M&S the one where your grandmother's grandmothers shop????

Compared to what Japanese women wear, that's absolutely scandalous.

Just wondering, has anyone here ordered from Next UK (or know anyone that has)?
Their prices seem to be not a whole lot more than Uniqlo's prices here in Japan, and from what I can see online, their quality is reputed to be somewhere around GAP level.
Like some others here, I don't have much luck finding clothes locally (XL in Canada, XXL or 3L here) as most clothing in the biggu saizu corners seems to be made for sumo wrestlers (and there are no outlet stores here in Kyushu BFE inaka).
So, would XL (shirts, coats, etc.) compare to XL in North American sizes?
(I've bought stuff from L.L. Bean in the past, but their quality has gone down, and the prices are not worth it.)

Do you realize how sad this statement is ?

For big size I got to pro hardware shops (I'm 1.88/100kg of pure sexyness) Odaka Pro Shop or sometimes Kahma too. They usually have not so bad looking stuff. I got me some pants with cargo pockets that don't look like workclothe at all and are in a fabric that dries extra fast (20minutes or so) which is awesome for rain season.

Actually, I think the last thing I bought at GAP was a t-shirt more than 15 years ago, so I don't really know what their quality is like now (just going by comments about Next/GAP online). I'm a little bit taller, but I exercise quite a bit so I don't have the requisite waistline that seems to be assumed for the big sizes here (shirts/coats anyway).
I might check out the local workwear store and see what they have.
I did recently take a (cheap) risk and buy a couple of flannel/fleece shirts (XXL) from Uniqlo online, and they actually fit. I guess now that Uniqlo is selling overseas, their larger sizes now reflect this (sleeves used to be too short, waists too big).
