Happy Thanksgiving

Postby canman » Mon Oct 11, 2004 11:01 am

To all you Canadians out there in F*cked Gaijin land, I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. Got my Turkey in the oven and the pumpkin pie is already made. I know for our American friends its a bit early, but by the time Nov. 24 or so rolls around its too damn cold to celebrate. By the way does Australia have any kind of Tahnksgiving holiday. Or an equivalent. Also happy Sports day to those Japanese, get out there and run! I'll have to do that tomorrow to burn off all the calories I intend on consuming today. Cheers.

Aussies don't mind roasting the odd turkey, but that's usually the job of the best man at a wedding.

So no official type holiday. Only making fun of your friends at their weddings. Well I guess that is another way to roast something isn't it.

Once again, I'd like to wish all the Canadians and everybody else out there a very Happy Thanksgiving. Lets hope the things pick up in the near future so we will really have something to be thankful for. But, as for me I have my health, a great family, a good job and that is what I am thankful for.

Thanks canman, and a belated Happy Thanksgiving to you too. :)

I had a rather odd thanksgiving dinner this year but it was a helluva lot of fun!
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

I always try to get my own turkey for Thanksgiving and celebrate the day with it. I am now celebrating Thanksgiving 2122.
