Japanese summer school in Tokyo / ECC interview

Postby tomorris » Sat Jan 03, 2004 3:31 pm

Hi,
I'll be living in Tokyo for 1-2 years starting this summer. Does anyone know of a good intensive Japanese language program in Tokyo that I could do over the summer?

Also, does anyone have any tips for the interview with ECC?

I posted an introduction on the new members thread, if you want to see who I am....thanks for any help!

I think it would be difficult to study (as in intensive language camp) in Tokyo, it's too big, too crowded, takes to long to get awywhere, and there are too many (tempting) distractions. Most of the really good intensive schools are out in the boondocks. That is not to say you won't find someone to take your money.

Hi,
I don't need a camp, just a school that I could go to full-time for language, for 2-3 months. I would arrange my own housing, and I wouldn't need to do any extracurricular activities like visiting tourist sites... I've been to Tokyo before. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

Also, I've lived in big cities before, (Chicago, NYC), so I'm not worried about crowding, noise, etc...
