Travelling in Japan

Postby Taka-Okami » Mon Nov 14, 2022 7:28 am

I've booked a holiday in Japan for all of Dec. Might have fucked up given the news the Overlords are going to let prefectures declare their own convid emergency. What a joke. Also I thought the people might be reducing mouth rag wearing, seems not the case. I booked this 6 months ago on a punt, guess I lost.

Who knows what happens but even the locals seemed to be tired of masking outdoors. See more and more people without masks.

I start often forgetting to put on a mask. And never had a single comment, weird look or whatever…
Local hospital still have some sort of “contact case” self quarantine, where you go to work but are not reimbursed if you go to conferences outside the city. Which has been a great excuse for a lot of people to skip those dreadful meeting always in bumfuck and during weekends… but globally, the farce seems over…

Also what are those prefectural covid emergency levels ? They blew up some bridges to prevent people from travelling ?

I'm in Melbourne, Australia, 263 days in lock down, the world record. Many of us have mental health problems from this time. They enforced a 'ring of steel' around the city, no-one got in or out.

I assume (hope?) Japan would not do this.

You should ask real people for this…

But for my hicks town, aside from partition at cash register and temperature self check in some places I could have went through this sh1tshow without knowing there was a cool pandemic going on.

Now… france is down the shitter and some court decisions are starting to punish the clowns who acted like if there was more casualties than in the battlefields of Verdun… the top politicians still want to believe.
But between the financial damage and the pfizer own revelation also with really too late side effect studies, some peeps are out for blood. Only the ukrainian scam keep things together for a little longer…
