trying to get to japan

Postby lithonia » Thu Mar 18, 2004 9:01 pm

I am a college senior studing English in the United States- in Georgia. I will graduate from college with a BA of Arts and Sciences on MAY 8, 2004. (I am also an American citizen.)
The problem is that I have applied to 4834834840834848 jobs online to teach overseas and no luck so far. Why is it that everytime I apply for a job to teach in Japan I get either a reply that says "try again when you get your degree" or no repsone at all?
I mean I have taken four years Japanese language, worked with little kids ad international students, and even worked at the home of the author of Gone with the Wind. (And Japanese people LOVE gone with the wind!) Haven't the Japanese heard of applying early? Is there anyone that wants me in the land of the rising sun? HELP! I am beginning to feel ultra-lame!

That's the official requirement for getting a teaching visa here.

Hey, I'm from GA, too. You'll get on after you get your degree. Until then what else can they say? It's like CS says
