Wedding ideas....

My fiance and I want to get married soon and are trying to think of a nice place to have the ceremony. We decided that a private ceremony with just the two of us is the best way to do it. Do any of you have any ideas or experiences? She is Japanese and we have been together for 7 years and have been engaged for 3 years. We plan to have the ceremony on her grandmothers one year anniversary of her passing. We live in CT.

In true TokyoTightwad style, my wife and I were content with just signing our names on the marriage licence at Nerima City Hall. My in-laws did throw a small bash for us at the Fukuroda ryokan, but it was very simple.
