Oh Yeah! Its too damnn hot!

I can barely stand it. Could you imagine if one of those nuclear accidents happened during summer and caused a power outage during summer?
It would be catastrophic. I cannot imagine the death toll. It would be wayyyyy worse than last years death toll in France in what was just a heat wave.

I honestly think this is a dire issue and Japan/Tokyo Metropbolis does not take it seriously enough.

So what I want ot do is discuss what you would do if you were mayor of Tokyo?

What I would do if I was Mayor of Tokyo:

I would put sprinklers in the parks to spray the bushes and trees (best air conditioning)
I would bulldoze straight wind thouroughfares through tokyo.
-- Autos could also travel this route but there would be trees in the middle of the street with grass or bushes (5 meteres wide)
I would campaign to make all sidewalks concrete by 2010
