Pigeon Toes vs. Camel Toes

Although not quite as interesting the Camel Toe, I have been noticing that a huge percentage of J-babes (not the men for some reason) walk around pigeon-toed, some quite severely.

As Seinfeld would say, "What's up with that???"

Is it part of Kawaii culture or something that's gone on for centuries because of the restrictive gait required for walking in a kimono?

It's another one of their many charming qualities that I find sexually stimulating. Maybe it's from a lack of elevated chair use.

even if it is a little cute it is nonetheless retarded looking.
How would you like to walk around pigeon toed? hhahaha
There are no advantages.

You basicaly want her to spread her legs anyway.

It could have something to do with their crescent calves???
Maybe to make their legs ... I dunno.

the real culprit, if not intentional, is probably sitting on the floor along with poor nutrition (protien calcium).
I have always found it wierd that they make kids eat gohan when the kid needs meat, dairy products and some veggies.

CUTIES IN JAPAN
(book) Women Media and Consumption in Japan, 1995 by Sharon Kinsella. Lise Skov & Brian Moeran eds.
....cute fashion in Japan more than merely cuddling cute things, it was all about 'becoming' the cute object itself by acting infantile. Young Japanese, especially women, purchased cute accessories and filled their rooms, cars, desks at work, and hand bags with sweet paraphernalia as a way of surrounding themselves by cuteness to the point where they felt transformed and could enter this cute-only world themselves. Being cute meant behaving childlike which involved an acts of self-mutilation, posing with pigeon toes, pulling wide eyed innocent expressions, dieting, acting stupid, and essentially denying the existence of the wealth of insights, feelings, and humour that maturity brings with it. In cute culture young people became popular according to their apparent weakness, dependence and inability rather than their strengths and capabilities.

There's some good quotes in that essay.
'Sex' became popularly referred to by the morbid term nyan nyan suru (to meow meow).

A can opener which tells its user this can-opener is not just a kitchen tool, treat it kindly and it will be our loyal friend.

I don't like people who don't like cute women. This cute thing goes all the way back to Sei Shonagon. And it's great.

[quote="A Blogger Pretending to be Sei Shonagon"]I remember a wonderful little girl, really pretty, good hearted. She sent a lovely poem in her excellent handwriting to the man she was after, but he mailed him back with some pretentious garbage. Never even visited her. She was broken-hearted, poor thing, but he didn't seem to care]
