Two Culture Questions

Just bought the VCD set of the Trick dorama series. I've been busting up laughing at the female lead character's frankness throughout the series. However, two questions came up that I have never experienced before.

1. While the female lead is making shaved ice, after she puts on the syrup, she adds a raw egg and mixes it up. While I have a craving for raw egg on some foods, I would never think of putting it on top of shaved ice. Is this normal or weird?

2. The male lead character has admitted to the female lead that he has a big penis. The female lead continually makes jabs and insults him for having a large penis. In one scene, she states that if he had surgery to reduce his penis size, he might be able to get married. Is this the social norm or is this fiction as disclaimed in the ending trailer?

At least one inquiring mind wants to know.

Beijita: I think some recipies for Ice Cream call for a raw egg. Also usually milk, but who knows, maybe its a TIJ thing too.


On the size thing: It matters. You don't put a canoe in the ocean, but you don't drop your cruise ship in a pond either.
