Lost train pass

Postby oyajikun » Mon Apr 18, 2005 4:44 pm

I recently lost/misplaced my 1 month train pass that cost me 20,000yen. Does anyone now if I am entitled to a replacement if I go to the train station and ask?

No replacements as far as I know. But if you know roughly where you lost it then there is a good chance that someone will have turned it in to either the police or a lost&found.

If you put your real name and contact info down when you bought the pass the train company might even contact you... (I'm not sure if they do that or not though.)

Sorry man.. Just kidding. I don't think teikis are refundable when lost. You might try the station where you think you lost it.. Some great samaritan returned mine once to the station master.. Japan is great for some things..

Bummer..

I guess I'll go try my luck at the station where I think I may have dropped it. Thanks for the feedback!
