What is the Tokai Welcome Card?
The Tokai Welcome Card is a discount card created only for use by foreign visitors to this area. It is our hope that this service will help further international relations and increase overseas visitors understanding of Japan while making visits here more enjoyable. This card is the first of its kind in Japan...It is intended for use at facilities in Aichi, Gifu, Mie and Shizuoka Prefectures and Nagoya City that are participating in this program. Specifically, lodging facilities, restaurants and shops, tourist facilities and transportation organizations. Such organizations are extending you a slight discount or complimentary service to increase your travel pleasure.
