Well, since this is too stupid for an ignoramus like yourself to understand, let me edify you.

Referring to women looking their best in a certain era doesn't pertain to just their physicality, but also extends to hairstyle, make-up and fashion.

The early 90s represented a peak in Japanese female fashion where they were wearing rather fashionable western clothing, but had not yet gone to the extent of dyeing or cutting up their hair or using outrageous amounts of western style makeup.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.
