PLastic garbage should be put for recycled plastic collection only if it's marked recyclable, in pristine condition and has been properly washed and dried. If it's tainted with food or precious bodily fluid it should be discarded with the burnables, that's why I always take a shit on my old TV set before putting them with the burnables.
(no seriously, here, dirty plastic is not considered worthy of recycling, which in fact make things incredible more simple)
