That cover is a perfect example: she looks fine as long as she doesn't do anything with her face. But as soon as she smiles or makes any expression, she looks scary.

She sure did. She's back from the doldrums with some beautiful skating. Both the short and free programs were close to perfect. Asada, who came in second, flubbed the first jump in her short program. I can't help wondering if she might have bested Ando if it weren't for that minor glitch.
Whatever ... mostly Japanese skaters in the top positions of both the women's and men's division.

Wife was watching this last night. I caught the last two of the ladies competitors, an American (I think) and Asada. Asada really nailed whatever program she was doing last night, she didn't seem to make any mistakes at all.
What happened to that Korean chick who was doing so well over the past few years?
Also, I had to laugh (but wasn't surprised at all) when the Japanese broadcaster listed the top finishers. Fuckers listed 1-5, then skipped 6 (Canadian) to list #7 who was Japanese. Typical Japan.
