A sad story, to be sure, but one that can transcend the current worries of the human world and unite us in our capricious grief

Texas police say 2 goats shot, killed at site of 'Fixer Upper' TV show
http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/texas-polic ... -1.2952582

WACO, Texas - Police say two goats were fatally shot on the Magnolia Homes property in Waco, Texas, featured on the HGTV television show "Fixer Upper."
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Sunday that investigators are trying to determine who killed the livestock. The FBI has assembled a task force to address the issue, and is hopeful of a peaceful resolution.
"Given the depth of our experience in the Waco area we hope to determine the cause of death without a massive loss of life of locals, whether hircine or human", said FBI spokeshuman Chute S. Furst

Coligny has not responded to PMs for weeks, so I fear that he has been hospitalized, as he has been before. I hope it is not worse than that...

I don't know if Russell is referring to the same episode, but there was a period in 2014 when Coligny was absent for more than a couple of months working on his car.

This is not unusual yet.

Been to Paris, Greji?

Man sparks chaos on Paris Metro after boarding train with stolen goat and refusing to get off

Commuters in Paris suffered an even more hellish rush-hour than usual after a man decided to board a Metro train with a goat.

Officials announced on Tuesday morning that an “act of malevolence“ by a passenger had led to the immediate suspension of the busy Line 1, causing severe delays.

According to angry commuters, the man caused a significant level of panic among travellers when he got on the train with the livestock at Tuileries station.

”Stuck on the Metro because of a man with a goat!“ tweeted Kenza Bennani. ”He’s refusing to get off.“

Hmm, maybe I am ignorant, but why would bringing a goat onto the Metro be such a big deal?

Yeah, but goats are almost like dogs, bovine dogs so to speak. If Marie-Chantal can bring her chihuahua on the Metro, why not a goat?
