Did you make sure she asked your mom to mail you some protective equipment? :P

Sounds like you're still in the "honeymoon period" where no one can do any wrong. But it also sounds like you're just seeing each other at matches & practices - I would recommend testing how compatible you are when you're in the same dugout all the time, and riding the tour bus together. For that, I'd recommend a temporary contract of say, 12 months. And travelling together, I believe, is an even better test.

Whatever you're decision, good luck. Soul mates are hard to find.

Yep, I agree with that, the traveling stuff we will have down. This winter, we will be going on a 40 hour train tide to her home town, along the way we will stop a few days in Chengdu, and then we will take a short trip to Hong Kong. This summer we want to go to Tibet together. :D

That is so cool man! Checking out her hometown will probably be cooler than Tibet or Hong Kong, too. I knew after two weeks my wife was the one so follow your heart man. Just keep us posted on all your awesome adventures. I know it's a hundred million times better than rotting away in Aichi! I'd love to hang out with you in China some time.

Well, the only reason she really considered me in the first place was because of my Chinese language skills, my ability to adapt, and the way I seem to be able to overcome the random obstacles. She doesn't mind the staring we get anymore, she likes the better service she gets when I am with her, and loves my common sense approach to problems. We couldnt find the air raid tunnels, so I just asked a few cops on the square, but they didn't know about it. Then I managed to find a net cafe to find a little information online about the location. Common sense to me, and incredibly more efficient than wandering around acking people about something that virtually noone seems to know about. Her hometown will be interesting. It's a city famous for the satellite launches they do, and her actual hometown is a town of about 20,000 outside of the city. We both have a weird, twisted sense of humor that seems to mesh quite well, and we each have a "secret language" we can use against the other.

Hong Kong is a trip I want to make if I can because I really want to attend lodge sometime this year down in Zetland and maybe see some friends who might be coming to Hong Kong for a few days. Tibet was her idea heh. And yeah, she's as crazy as I am. I suggested we bike to Lhasa from Chengdu over a week or so and camp out along the way, and she was dead serious when she said it would be fun and she wanted to do it if I was up to it too. It would be much more fun than a train ride (they just opened a regular train to Lhasa btw).

I think she loves me because I'm as crazy as she is. :)
