I actually watched the 100 prelims and finals and couldn't help to laugh in that when the Japanese sprinter reached the semi final they showed his name up in the corner of the screen "Tsukahara vs. Bolt vs. Powell," as if there was a rivalry or a match there....
Tsukahara finished dead last in time in the semi's, managing to beat only the UK sprinter who was disqualified on a false start.
But, the TV announcers and color commentators made it into a race, talking about Tsukahara's great (lightning) start, without mentioning that his reaction time was tied for the 3rd slowest of all 16 starters. TIJ!
