High-heel "gorilla walk"... WHY!?

Reading the post that Mulboyne made here reminded me of something I wanted to post here before...

What the fuck is up with half the women in this country walking like gorillas when they wear high-heeled shoes?

About half walk normally -- heel first, followed by the toe of the shoe hitting the ground, then the heel lifting up before the toe. Rinse and repeat.

But the other half walk flatfooted like a gorilla! Is it only an FG like me who thinks that's fucked? Don't Japanese find it weird too? It's got to be murder on their backs...

The gorilla-walk... Another bizzare feature of Japan.

Japanese girls walk fucked whether they're in heels or not. A friend of mine when to Burma and a Burmese guy was telling him that some of the Japanese girls there dress in native clothes and are hard to tell from the locals. But he said he could always tell by their ridiculous "duck" walk.

As long as they aren't too pigeon-toed and walk properly "heel-down-first" I don't mind.

Hell I don't care HOW they walk as long as they aren't doddling along in front of me blocking the sidewalk! I just find the gorilla walk pretty hilarious...especially if it's some really hot chick dressed really well, but walking like a gorilla. It just doesn't fit.
