I need to find out how to say a couple of phrases in Japanese. I have a fair idea, but I really need clarification.

well, Spyder seems like a decent geezer, maybe what he wants to say is either personal/sensetive or maybe it may seem embarrasing to post such questions when a lot of the users here have a pretty decent handle on nhg.

i mean, its not like the blokes come on here trying to sell surfboards/creating multiple accounts and starting flame wars against his multiple personalities is it?

KN, you may be right.

Crap Japanese - I showed up with a Japanese vocabulary consisting entirely of 'samurai,' 'sushi,' and 'sayonara.' I learned, though, that you can't be afraid to make mistakes, and I'm making plenty as I now try to learn Chinese. As for personal/sensitive, that's what the anonymity of bulletin boards are for. Fire away.
