Used book shops in Tokyo

Postby jasper » Thu Nov 07, 2002 10:34 am

Does anyone in the Tokyo area know of used book shops for English books (paperback novels and the like). I have a bunch I'd like to unload and also would like to stock up on new (used) reading material on the cheap.

Thanks

Yours truly, Tom Torrorific, dumps all my old Ann Rice there while I steal Taeko's cookies.

New! Caravan Books
--opens Nov. 4

According to the TokyoQ http://club.nokia.co.jp/tokyoq/weekly_updates/tqcalendar.html

"Tokyo is to get another English-language second-hand bookshop this week, when Caravan Books throws open its doors for the first time on Monday. Owner Nick Ward was one of the people behind The Fiddler pub in Takadanobaba, and has now apparently abandoned the midnight world of Guinness and baked beans to put his feet up with a good book or 10,000."

"[Caravan's] premises, in the back of an old house, may be difficult to find, and [Nick] is happy to fax a map if you call him first."
Caravan Books (Ikebukuro). call: 03-5951-6406

Ret's reading!!
ENJOY HAPPY 100%!
