She is everywhere these days. Although talk about a vacuous person. She has no real personality, but I guess if you are cute it doesn't really matter. We will have our big local festival starting soon, and some talent from Tokyo is coming, but I figure this girl will outdraw her, she is so hot right now. I will try to get some picks and put them up.

It seems that Aomori or Hachinohe people have low cultural standard.

You're not fit to wipe Tsugaru ass. They have the richest cultural traditions in all of Japan.

I'd say Japanese politicians are looking brighter as are gaijin's prospects on getting into them.

Perhaps not any more...

Road to the Deep East: Backlash against Bikini Assembly Member
...According to some sources, this Yuri's debut was not notified to her supporters in Hachinohe. The chairman of her supporters' organization tells to Livedoor news. 'Unbelievably, Miss Fujikawa held a press conference and announced the release of photo book and DVD without understanding the situation...She betrayed the people who vote for the municipal assembly member Fujikawa Yuri and members of supporter's organization across the nation . Personally I think it's regrettable, too. She is hopeless'...So, it must be true her DVD debut made her supporters in Hachinohe mad, and she is being isolated politically. She said she did this job to promote local products from the city, but unexpectedly, it looks her bikini was too excessive for conservative supporters...more...

I saw her yesterday. She works at the nursing home where my wife's grandmother is staying, and when we went to visit, these she was sitting in the main office doing office work. Unfortunately she didn't have her bikini on, just a regular OL suit. I guess here in Hachinohe being a city politician is not a full time job, you have to still keep the day job. Anyway she is good looking, but I still don't know what all the fuss is about. If you are interested the name of the Nursing home is Hibari no Sato.

Agreed. Do you think it would be considered un-conservative if we tried to breechload her at the Senior Center?

Maybe if we give the administrators some nice oseibo or ochugen they'll turn a blind eye. But I can't wait to find out...:p

Her DVD has sold 2,324 copies since its release last week, putting it at No.41 in the general Oricon chart and No.1 in their idol DVD category.

Life is getting a bit tricky for Fujikawa. Her support group is now suspected of violating the Public Office Election Law by failing to declare certain donations from individuals and magazine appearance fees which were collected in the name of her campaign. Fujikawa suggested that the discrepancies were simply a matter of the money actually being received in a different accounting period but investigators claim to have evidence of at least two cases which should have been declared and were not. Fujikawa has claimed that one was repaid while she is still looking into the second case.

Spanish newspaper 20 Minutos included Fujikawa in a list of the world's best-looking female politicians and asked readers to vote. She's currently in second place with 74,189 votes, behind Luciana León of Peru with 79,566, having jumped a couple of places in the last few days. It looks like Japanese netizens are beginning to mobilize. (N.B. Sarah Palin is in 33rd spot).

That list has been discredited. They ranked Hillary (47th)

Guess who met Miss Yuri Fujikawa on Saturday and did the English voice overs for her local radio show. Me! Man does she wear a lot of make up, she must have used a trowel to put that stuff on. Not a bad person, but a bit stuck up from all the press she has gotten lately. I have a feeling she is looking to move up in the political world. Word has it she wants to run either for prefectural gov't or go all the way and try national politics.

Just because you didn't get any celebrity pussy this weekend, you don't need to hate. Did you at least get her keitai number?
