Whisky Live 2009 - Feb. 22

About 30-odd distilleries from Scotland and Japan will be giving out samples of a few hundred different varieties of whisky and bourbon this weekend at Big Site (doors open at 10:30). Tickets are 6000yen at the door. Anyone going? Official site (very slow)

I went last year on business, but once that was through I was free to hit the booths and had a lot of fun. Even with people drinking steadily all day (lots of people staggering around completely plowed), there were still no signs of running out by mid-afternoon. This year I'll be there on my own. No guarantees that I'll be able to walk out on my own.

Same here. I am a big fan of Scotch. I would have loved to attend had I been in Japan.
