US Diplomatic Blog

Postby omae mona » Tue Mar 31, 2009 9:01 pm

Charge d'Affaires James Zumwalt of the US Embassy in Tokyo has started a blog. (You know the U.S. administration's changed when they let bureaucrats have job titles with French in them!)

This is about as bland of a blog as I've seen. I guess government employees are not encouraged to post about topics like toilets, perverts, or any of our other favorite topics here. But I thought it would be interesting to share the link since I haven't seen a Japan-related blog directly from somebody in the U.S. government before. Perhaps something interesting will show up here.

I understand that a teenage ghostwriter had to punch up his original writing to get it this level of stirring blandness.
