Wi-fi spots in tokyo?

Postby Jiamuzu » Wed Jul 15, 2009 4:33 pm

Hi all
I am going to be in Tokyo for a few weeks, thinking about renting a phone, or not, as the case may be, wondered if any Tokyo residents could advise on the availability of free wi-fi / paid-for wi-fi in the capital?

Thinking could be useful for making calls using Skype, using emails etc...and avoid renting a phone unless I have too.

Yoroshiku!

The lists of hotspots I've seen have been pretty worthless; a lot of places are listed that don't have it. Tully's (many, many locations) often has it, and Seattle's Best Coffee always has it, but has very few outlets. I use the SBC in Ginza quite often.
