I tried the list out on my girlfriend who was born in last decade of Showa but is definitely a product of the Heisei Era. She didn't know any of the top 10 but seemed to know most of the others.

That list was a classic! I can still remember some of the old words. One that really caught my eye was Goji Kara Otoko. Chugai used to have bizarre ads for one of their genki drinks as I used to get all the oyaji in the bubble days laughing and buying me drinks by imitating them as I acted like a dancing monkey. You can see the one I loved best from the 1:36 mark in this video.

With all those trees popping up, I'm sure drinking a bottle of that stuff these days would get you carbon credits.
