expat services companies

Postby denkianma » Tue Feb 18, 2003 10:47 pm

Has anyone out there had a positive experience with one of those expat services companies that is supposed to do things like apartment lease paperwork, visa paperwork, etc.? I recently got cut from a big gaishikei and I have to go through an expat service company to transfer my apartment lease and I've not been this frustrated in a long time. These expat service company folks make excuses rather than help the customer.

If anyone has any recommendations for a good service company, I would like to hear your suggestions. If there are any tips on watching out for the less-than-helpful service companies, and tips on how to deal with it, I would like to know that as well.

Frustrated in Tokyo,

Of course, its so easy to find Japanese girls who speak it, like within the first day i'm in Japan I always meet atleast four girls who can speak it fluently, atleast and if worst comes to worst hit up Narita Hoes first. I dont know, some people say it's like i'm using girls, but thats what they are there for, to like sponsor our trips and give us money, works for me everytime.

Josh

Thanks for the tip! Are Narita Hoes easier to get or something? Seems kind of far away from Tokyo, though. How about in Tokyo? Any good 'expat services' alternatives in the greater Tokyo area?

BTW, I like your ghettocitiesclothing site!

I would like to hear an answer to the original question if anyone has information or experience with those companies.

I won't be side-tracked at the mention of pussy either since I would rather find out how to solve problems without taking advantage of people.

I'm not directing that at you either, Josh...do what you like man. But for the sake of the women, my conscience, and the reputation of gaijin in general, I don't want to do things your way.
