Freight Forwarders in Yokohama/Tokyo?

Postby waruta » Wed Feb 02, 2011 1:37 pm

Anyone know of a decent company? Looking to ship a half pallet or full pallet maybe once a month to Singapore, I need to get a few quotes/estimates on FOB prices...

Along these lines does anybody have a rough idea what it costs to have say a 1-200 kg pallet shipped here by sea from the US and/or Europe?

I'm seeing $3-5 per pound by air, but cannot seem to find anywhere to get a quote without filling out all my contact details for sea. I just need a real loose idea of the cost at this point not ready to be harassed by salesmen.

If possible see if you can get the company you're buying the stuff from to quote you a price CIF to your closest port. If they do a lot of shipping they can probably get better rates than you'll get by calling around.
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
