You should have seen the queues to get into Shinjuku Gyoen. We were in the area and thought we'd stop by for a "natsukashii sanpo" and ended up just driving on by and heading somewhere less packed.

Went to Gyoen around 12:30....looked like hell, but only took about 15 minutes to get in, and that was with the complimentary search for alcohol. People watching was excellent. Watched several parents freaking out on their kids, two couples having fights, and they weren't even allowing alcohol in the place, maybe that made people act crazier than normal.

Harajuku station on Saturday morning. Basically it looked about the same for Takeshita-dori, Omotesando, and the road leads to Yoyogi park, and of course inside Yoyogi Park was the craziest, as all softbank mobile phone had no line in the park, and lots of people (softbank carrier) couldn't communicate and find their friends/ group, I knew a few gave up and just left the park. It took me 45 mins to find my group too.
